PageGrove

Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated: August 31, 2026

PageGrove has no accounts, advertising, analytics, or tracking. EPUB files, book metadata, reading progress, and preferences stay in local app storage on your device and are not uploaded to PageGrove.

Data you choose to use in the app

When you select an EPUB file, PageGrove reads that file on your device so it can display the book. The app stores the selected book, its title and author, reading position, and reading preferences locally using browser or app storage. This information is used only to provide your bookshelf and resume your reading. PageGrove does not transmit this content to its developer or to other users.

Device features and permissions

PageGrove uses WebXR to provide its immersive reading environment and uses the file picker only when you ask to add an EPUB. Your browser or Meta Horizon OS controls these permissions. PageGrove does not use the Meta Platform SDK, social graph, avatars, voice recordings, spatial anchors, eye tracking, or in-app purchases.

Network and hosting data

The application shell, fonts, and reading environments are delivered over HTTPS. Like most hosted websites, the hosting and network providers may process standard request information such as an IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamps, and security diagnostics to deliver the service, prevent abuse, and maintain reliability. PageGrove does not add analytics identifiers or combine those requests into advertising or behavioral profiles.

Sharing and sale

PageGrove does not sell personal data. It does not share EPUB contents, book metadata, reading history, or preferences because those items are not sent off the device. Standard web-request information may be processed by infrastructure providers solely to host, secure, and deliver the app.

Retention and deletion

Locally saved books and reading data remain on your device until you remove a book from PageGrove or clear the app's site data in Meta Horizon OS or your browser settings. Uninstalling the packaged app also removes its local app storage under the operating system's normal behavior. Because PageGrove does not receive your EPUBs or reading history, there is no remote PageGrove account or server copy to request for deletion.

Children

PageGrove is a general reading utility and is not directed to children under 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If PageGrove's data practices change, this page will be updated before the new practices apply, and the effective date above will change.

Questions

For privacy, deletion, or technical questions, visit PageGrove Support. Since book data remains local, deletion is performed directly on the device as described above.
